Development of Dudhala as 100% Smart village

    • Rooftop solar PV systems installation is being carried out at all the homes in Dudhala. Around 300 houses and public areas to be lit up with solar energy. With this, the villagers will be able to save Rs. 1500 per month and they will be able to consume 50% more power after installation of the solar panels. Till date, nearly 60% of the installation work has been achieved.
    • Free Wi-Fi facility worth approximately 75 lakhs is also being setup at the village. Such a digital connectivity will enable facilities of tele-medicine, tele-education, e-health, e-entertainment, etc. and create local employment opportunities and drive socio-economic growth in the area.
    • This initiative will impact close to 2000 lives while addressing the needs of energy day & night.

Laljidada no Vadlo

Named after Shri Govindkaka's late father, "Laljidada no Vadlo" at Lathi is a relief centre setup especially to provide support and services to the people of Lathi village- Shri Govindkaka’s homeland.

Various service Initiatives run by ‘Lalji Dada no Vadlo’

"Matrushree Santokbaa Medical Centre", is administered by Shree Ramkrishna Welfare Trust since 2005 at native place Dudhala Village of Lathi, Gujarat. Three full-time M.B.B.S. doctors work in this medical centre. Everyday about 300 patients from the nearby villages visit this centre.

  • Diagnosis-treatment and medicines are provided by charging nominal token fee at the centre.
  • Treatment and medicines are provided at concessional rates since September 2005, which has benefitted around 9,50,000 patients.
  • Since 2015, dentures have been provided at free of cost to senior citizens at the medical centre’s dental division. So far, 5500+ individuals have been helped by free dentures.
  • At the centre, patients can get different types of tests done, such as blood tests and digital X-rays with state-of-the-art technology at an affordable cost.
  • Indian Army personnel and their families are provided free medical care at the medical centre.
  • For senior citizens, spectacles are distributed at a concessional rate in the Ophthalmology division.
  • Amreli district’s specialist doctor provides services for a token fee at the medical centre.
  • Specialist physiotherapists, employed full time, conducts exercise sessions of the patients making the use of latest and modern equipment.
  • On the second Sunday of every month, Ranchoddas Bapu Trust organizes a free cataract camp in Laljidada no Vadlo.
  • In the surrounding 34 villages of Lathi, the medical centre provides treatment and medicines at very nominal fees with the use of mobile dispensary
  • At the Shree Ramkrishna Auditorium Hall of the Medical Centre, experts on various subjects deliver motivational programs as well as various programs for social awareness for the purpose of social service to farmers, students and doctors.
  • Scholarship assistance is provided to the economically challenged students who are unable to continue their studies due to constraints.
  • Erudite and Scholars like Param Pujya Shri Morari Bapu and Param Pujya Shri Rameshbhai Oza's inspirational speech inculcates the spirit of sacrament and sense of social service in the minds of the people.
  • In the counselling centre running here, farmers and students are given guidance, advice and suggestions for free of cost. Various schemes of the government are brought to the knowledge of general public and people are helped with online applications under various schemes.
  • Buttermilk is distributed for free of cost to 4000 to 5000 people of Lathi every month for four months every year in summer season.
  • Meals are served to 100 to 150 people every day as the free ‘prasad service’ at Bhimji Dada Snehamrut. About 50 to 60 elderly and infirm persons are served food at home by tiffin service in Dudhala, Toda, Kerala, Akala and Lathi villages.
  • With the inspiration of Laljidada no Vadlo and with the help of donors, the buildings of three government schools- Taluka school, Girls’ school, and the Rameshwar school in the Lathi village have been reconstructed with state-of-the-art technology facilities for students at a cost of Rs 5 crore with the name of “Ramkrishna Vidhyamandir” and handed over to the government.
  • 53 talented students of Lathi taluka, studying in the village schools, were invited to Surat for 10 days wherein the entire expense was borne by Laljidada no Vadlo. The motive was to explore the hidden skills within students and bring them to their notice so that they can decide about their career meticulously.
  • A cancer diagnosis camp was organized on 16th June 2019 in collaboration with SRK Knowledge Foundation and Gujarat Cancer Research Institute (G.C.R.I.), Ahmedabad. Here 138 patients were examined by cancer specialist doctors of G.C.R.I., and based on the primary symptoms of the three types of cancer, it was decided to refer 32 patients to Ahmedabad for further investigation where the organization was committed to render help to them to the largest possible extent.
  • Inspired by Shri Ramkrishna Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF), project ‘UDAAN – Towards Bright Future’ had been initiated with the motive of inspiring education with pleasure and amusement. In the first round, 36 schools from the surrounding villages of Lathi taluka and 80 Anganwadis are included. Everyday a mobile schoolboy went to a school to teach the children to have fun and do different activities for the children. And in the Anganwadi centres children were provided with mattresses, cooking utensils like cooker, tongs, pan etc.

Thus, the people of the villages of Lathi taluka are benefiting the with fullest extent from the various service activities of “Lalji Dada no Vadla” which is constantly striving to reap the benefits of a wide range of service activities and enjoys performing its duties with modesty.
